Privacy & Cookies

How we handle information shared with Kemet Petroleum through this website and our business communications.

Our approach

Kemet Petroleum Limited is committed to handling business and enquiry information responsibly. This page describes the information that may be shared with us through this website, how it is used, and the limited browser storage used by the current public website.

Information you may share

The website does not currently operate a server-side account or contact database. If you complete the enquiry form, the details are prepared in your own email application and addressed to Kemet’s trading team.

  • Contact details: name, company, email address and phone number you choose to provide.
  • Enquiry details: the area of interest and message you include in an enquiry.
  • Business correspondence: information you provide when you contact Kemet directly by email or telephone.

How information is used

Information shared with Kemet may be used to respond to enquiries, assess trading and logistics opportunities, communicate about a requested service, maintain business records, protect the website and meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated advertising.

Cookies and browser storage

The current public website does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tools, behavioural tracking, or non-essential marketing cookies.

CategoryCurrent use
Essential preferencesLimited interface preference storage may be used where a reusable interface component is enabled. It is not used to identify visitors or track activity across websites.
Analytics and advertisingNone are currently active on the public website.

Because the current site does not use non-essential tracking, it does not show a disruptive consent banner. If Kemet later adds analytics, chat, advertising, or other non-essential tracking, those services should be disabled until a visitor gives appropriate consent, with options to accept, reject, or manage preferences.

Service providers and links

The website is hosted using Replit infrastructure and uses a self-hosted Hanken Grotesk typeface instead of requesting fonts from Google Fonts. Your email provider handles the delivery of messages created by the enquiry form. These providers may process technical request information under their own terms and privacy policies.

The website may link to external services or websites. Kemet is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of sites it does not control.

Retention and security

Kemet retains business correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, maintain an appropriate business record, resolve disputes, or meet legal and regulatory requirements. Reasonable administrative and technical measures should be used to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask Kemet to explain how your information is being used, request access to or correction of information you have provided, ask for deletion where appropriate, or object to a particular use where applicable law gives you that right. Requests should include enough information for Kemet to identify the relevant correspondence.
